About the Role

Act in a manner that is courteous, polite and considerate at all times. Contribute to the delivery of a high standard of

care. Perform delegated clinical tasks independently e.g. weighing and measuring babies in clinic and at home, undertake

growth measurements in schools for the National Childhood Measurement Programme, complete newborn bloodspot testing.

Provide care for children and families as directed by the Specialist Community Public Health Nurses or other members of

the team and feedback the findings from this contact to the accountable caseload holder. Provide individualised and

group support to families to encourage and support breast feeding and appropriate weaning when required. Carry clinical
