Activities Leader - 15 hrs pw - every other weekend

About the Role

As an Activities Leader, you will:

• Develop ongoing activity plans tailored to residents' interests.
• Assess residents' needs through collaboration with families and staff.
• Provide stimulation and exercise through diverse activities.
• Build relationships to gather life stories for personalized care.
• Organize community links and excursions for residents.
• Track activity engagement using digital and written methods.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Creating engaging activities that reflect residents' hobbies.
• Encouraging participation in various initiatives.
• Supporting residents' independence and lifestyle opportunities.
• Documenting and evidencing activity participation.

Requirements

To succeed, you need:

• Experience in a care or teaching environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine interest in elderly care and activities.
• Ability to plan and deliver meaningful activities.
