About the Role

The Acute Care Support Worker will be expected to work as part of the Acute Pathway Team under the direction of the

Service Manager. They will facilitate the smooth running of the section 136 Suite along with supporting the Access Team

and ward areas in line with the Trust standards and policies. The post holder will liaise and communicate effectively

with relatives, community colleagues, other allied health professionals, external agencies, and medical/nursing staff.

The post holder will be expected to maintain confidentiality and adopt a positive attitude towards staff, patients,

external agency staff and relatives at all times.
