Acute Medicine Patient Flow Co-ordinator * INTERNAL ONLY *

About the Role

We are looking to recruit a Patient Flow Co-ordinator across the Acute Medicine Department at the Royal Shrewsbury

Hospital. You will be a member of the Acute Medicine Team working directly with the AMU, AMA and SDEC Nurse Coordinators

(NiC) supporting the management of all attendances, admissions and discharges for Acute Medicine patients by

facilitating an efficient, effective and timely management of patient’s diagnostics, decisions and utilisation of beds

and resources. You will also support the Emergency Department with medical patient flow. You will develop close working

relationships with clinical and non-clinical staff ensuring they demonstrate a professional manner and personal
