About the Role

The post holder will play a key role in the Acute Oncology Team (AOT) & in the delivery of acute oncology services

throughout the Trust. The post holder will provide early input of specialist care to oncology patients enabling

• Faster and better care of patients with complications of chemotherapy (early recognition, better treatment, early

discharge)

• Faster and better care of patients with complications of cancer (early recognition, better treatment, rapid referral

back to specialist oncology team, palliative care team etc)
