About the Role
Main Duties of a GP Receptionist Patient Reception and Enquiries Welcome patients and visitors in a polite,
professional, and compassionate manner. Handle patient enquiries both in person and over the telephone. Provide
information about practice services, policies, and procedures. Appointment Management Schedule, cancel, and amend
patient appointments using the clinical system. Ensure appointments are booked appropriately according to patient needs
and GP availability. Communicate any delays or changes to patients in a courteous and timely way. Administrative Support
Maintain and update patient records accurately on the practice system. Process repeat prescription requests and pass
