About the Role

The Directorate of Urgent Care is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and dynamic Advanced Clinical

Practitioner with an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice, and Non Medical prescribing qualification to join our

established and rapidly expanding team on Medical Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC).

The SDEC model aims to reduce unnecessary admissions, ensuring patients are cared for in the right place at the right

time., working across a 7 day service. Providing SDEC in a planned way enhances patient flow, improves performance,

reduces length of stay and reduces risk of hospital harm. With a focus on admission avoidance, keeping people in their
