Advanced Clinical Practitioner Respiratory Medicine

About the Role

The ACP will work as an autonomous clinician and will be expected to provide assessment, diagnostic investigations and

management of patients both as inpatient and outpatient clinical settings. They will need be able to undertake a

clinical examination, request and interpret radiology, biochemistry, haematology, histology, and microbiology results.

Will be expected to impart sensitive diagnosis, undertake sensitive conversations around Treatment

Escalation/DNARCPR/EOL Will be expected to refer to other key specialists to support the management of the patients in

the service clinically and from a discharge point of view. Will be expected to independently discharge patients from the
