About the Role
Job Summary: The primary focus of the role is to work as an autonomous practitioner providing high quality and timely
patient centred care. The post holder will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, referral and
discharge of a diverse range of patients with minor injuries/minor illnesses, without reference to a doctor and within
their level of competence and agreed protocols. Clinical Care: Act as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, demonstrating
advanced clinical competence and a knowledge base beyond those associated with conventional roles. Triage patients.
Undertake consultations with patients either by e-Consultation, telephone triage or face to face, as an autonomous
