About the Role
Main Duties & Responsibilities Undertake nurse-led outpatient maternal medicine clinics as an independent practitioner,
working to agreed guidelines and protocols within a clinical governance framework (e.g Haematology/Hypertension).
Accepting referrals, determine appropriateness and prioritise according to clinical need, seeing both new and follow-up
patients in accordance with local protocols and national guidelines. Carrying out specific investigations, treatments
and interventions without direct supervision including: o Primary assessment and treatment of a suspected VTE o
Assessment of a woman with Hypertension, considering the diagnosis of Pre-eclampsia and eclampsia Provide support to
