Advanced Orthoptist
About the Role
Main responsibilities Clinical: Provide advanced Orthoptic assessment, diagnosis and management for complex cases across
core and subspecialty clinics, including strabismus, neuroophthalmology, paediatrics, orbital, toxin and A&E. Lead the
Orthopticled OMG clinic, independently reviewing, prioritising and managing suspected and confirmed OMG patients, and
collaborating with the medical team for shared decisionmaking. Contribute to multidisciplinary clinics providing
specialist Orthoptic expertise. Work autonomously at network sites, taking full responsibility for patient management,
triage and referral. Prepare and assist with botulinum toxin and post surgery adjustable orthoptic assessment where
