Ambulatory Care Teaching and Clinical Fellow
About the Role
The post holders will work in the Ambulatory Care department which is adjacent to ED providing same day emergency care
(SDEC) to the local population. This includes initial assessment of patients, organization of relevant investigations
and planning the ongoing management and discharge of patients back to the community. The AEC works closely with ED as
well as the AAU team, medical speciality inpatient and outpatient services, surgical, gynae and the full range of local
health care providers from 111/LAS to cancer services The ambulatory care unit has a dedicated Consultant and Senior
Nurse who supervise the diagnosis, management and treatment of patients on the unit and provide teaching and support for
