Ambulatory Specialist Palliative Care Clinical Support Worker
About the Role
Organise incoming and outgoing mail, both paper and electronic. Maintenance of patient clinical databases. Specifically
assist the CNSs in coordinating care for a large specialist caseload. Be a first port of call for incoming calls from
patients, relatives, carers, and health professionals and advise or direct calls safely and appropriately. Provide basic
telephone advice and refer on or signpost to appropriate sources of assessment and/or support. Support and contribute to
audit processes, governance, research and service development. Take an active part in team meetings, MDTs and audits as
required. Participate in stock maintenence and daily equipment checks. Ability to effectively manage own time and
