About the Role
Main duties and responsibilities: Working alongside the nurses and doctors at the surgery the post holder will be
responsible for the following: 1) Clinical 1. To see patients independently. To diagnose and treat within the setting of
the GP facility. 2. Assist in the development of an integrated approach to the delivery of patient care involving all
relevant stakeholders including health and social care organisations, particularly within the primary care field 3. To
provide telephone assessment to patients calling the surgery and inviting them to attend the surgery if appropriate. 4.
To provide clinical expertise to patients walking in to, or with appointment at the surgery, by assessing and treating
