About the Role
The post holder will be an expert specialist resource in Antenatal and Newborn (ANNB) screening and responsible for
providing midwifery care co-ordinating and developing services provided to pregnant women. The post holder is expected
to act as a coordinator between those involved in providing and those receiving the programme.
The post holder will provide effective, visible leadership to the Antenatal and Newborn Screening team and wider
maternity services. The post holder will work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team providing high quality,
effective midwifery evidence-based and woman centred care and will promote a positive working environment.
