About the Role
1. Delivers a support service for patients with arrhythmias and their families to ensure they receive pertinent
information regarding their condition with treatment alternatives explored and relative risks as per current research
explained. There by empowering patients to make an informed choice. 2. Develops services in line with recommendations in
the National Service Framework for CHD Chapter 8, NICE guidelines for AF and the European Society of Cardiology
guidelines. 3. Uses highly specialist and well-developed communication skills to deal effectively with patient and
family education needs, including breaking bad news, prognosis and dealing with emotive situations. 4. Works
