Assistant Chef
About the Role
HC-One is seeking an Assistant Chef who is passionate about providing nutritious meals in a caring environment. You will support the First Chef, manage food stock, and ensure kitchen cleanliness while prioritizing Resident wellbeing. A Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate and knowledge of HACCP are essential. Responsibilities
- Cook and serve healthy meals for Residents.
- Support the First Chef and take charge in their absence.
- Manage food stock and budget effectively.
- Coach colleagues and supervise kitchen clean-up.
- Attend safeguarding training and report concerns.
Requirements
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Understanding of HACCP principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Organizational skills to meet deadlines.

Compensation
