About the Role

The Planned Investigation and Treatments Unit (PITU) provides high quality, multidisciplinary care for patients and

their carers.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide nursing care, under the direction of the registered nursing

team. You will assist in the assessment and monitoring of the patient’s treatment/care pathway and will support the

nursing team to provide care, information, education, training, and support to patients and their carer’s. You will

undertake both routine and specially identified tasks for which you will receive training and be assessed as competent
