Band 3 Healthcare Assistant

About the Role

As part of a multi-disciplinary team, assist registered nursing staff provide high quality, effective and compassionate

physical, psychosocial and spiritual end of life care and support to patients and those important to them, as specified

in individual care plans and to the standards specified in the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers

(Department Health, 2015). Support and supervise band 2 Health Care Assistants under the guidance of a registered nurse

and delegate work to them.
