About the Role
Job summary 1. The healthcare assistant / support worker will Provide patient centred, compassionate care at all times
and advocate for the patient. 2. The healthcare assistant / support worker is a member of the team that delivers
clinical care under the supervision of a registered nurse. Tasks are delegated by the registered nurse. 3. The post
holder is responsible for ensuring that patients are cared for in a safe environment and that privacy and dignity is
maintained at all times. 4. The post holder will provide direct care and provide verbal and written reports. 5. To
actively seek the views of patients / carers on their understanding of their care needs and develop a relationship to
