Band 3 Radiographer Assistant

About the Role

As a Radiographer Assistant, duties and responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to: Assisting in

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures and supporting radiologists during interventional and minor surgical

procedures. Acting as a chaperone when required, ensuring patient comfort and dignity at all times. Safely transferring

and moving patients, adhering to manual handling protocols. Carrying out basic nursing care tasks, such as recording

patient observations. Ensuring patient confidentiality, dignity and observing safeguarding protocols. Providing

administrative support, including reception cover, answering telephones, scheduling appointments, and updating patients'
