About the Role
General administrative duties for the department such as faxing, filing of all correspondence (including patient letters
until EDRM introduced), results, photocopying and distribution of mail - identify and action any correspondence suitable
for own response - produce relevant correspondence for consultant's reply.
• Ensure copies of letters, discharge summaries etc. are sent within the agreed timeframe where appropriate.
• Review the actions and instructions generated from the transcription service when requested.
• Support the team in answering telephone calls and dealing with enquiries in a helpful and courteous manner, using
