About the Role
Job Purpose
The Band 5 Staff Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality, safe, and effective nursing care to patients within
an NHS Trust hospital setting. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the post holder will assess, plan,
implement, and evaluate patient care while maintaining professional standards in accordance with the Nursing and
Midwifery Council (NMC) Code of Conduct. The role requires the nurse to support patient recovery, promote health and
wellbeing, and ensure compassionate, person-centred care at all times.
