About the Role

Wellington Ward is a 20-bedded General Medical Ward. Patients.We pride ourselves on having a friendly and welcoming

team. We work very closely with our colleagues from Adult Social Care and Allied Health Professionals – Physiotherapists

and Occupational Therapists and with our Mental Health Team.

Our aim is to maximise and deliver excellent patient care by using all the resources available. To reduce length of

hospital, stay and maintain patient flow. This is achieved by having a daily multi-disciplinary meeting, to discuss

every patient. The Hospital Intervention Team, Social Services, medical teams and the nursing staff, meet to establish
