About the Role
1. To provide specialist assessment and intervention within the Behavioural and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia
(BPSD) pathway in particular working with the service user, family, care home staff to manage these behaviours. This can
be either a nursing or OT approach under a psychological formulation model of care. 2. Support the Guided Care Matron
with managing referrals for the BPSD pathway. 3. To work alongside the Senior Clinical Psychologist and Guided Care
Matron to manage a caseload for patients under the BPSD pathway; under a psychological formula based model of care. 4.
To support in the patient within their residence or Care Home to remain there, maintaining safety and reduce the need
