About the Role In this role, you will provide care to acutely unwell patients with complex gastroenterology, hepatology,
and endocrine conditions, requiring rapid assessment, timely escalation, and confident clinical decisionmaking. This
includes supporting individuals with liver disease, gastrointestinal bleeding, inflammatory bowel disease, pancreatitis,
diabetic emergencies, and a broad range of hormonal disorders. You will work within a close, supportive
multidisciplinary team, collaborating with nurses and doctors to deliver safe, highquality care, while offering daytoday
leadership and supporting the Ward Manager in maintaining excellent standards, staff development, and effective ward
