About the Role

The Borough Islington is a wonderfully diverse borough. Despite its relatively small size it is densely populated with a

resident child population of 40,000, which is about 20% of the total population. The borough is a varied community with

extremes of affluence and poverty. There is a broad cultural mix from a range of ethnic minority groups. The Post The

post holder will work in the Islington Social Communication Team; a specialist service for children 5 years and under

with neurodevelopmental differences (including autism and ADHD). The service provided consists of assessment, diagnosis

and post-diagnostic support for individual autistic children as well as providing a support service to parents/carers
