below: To undertake a role in the day-to-day management of patients on the trauma orthopaedic wards and orthopaedic

patients on outlying wards.To provide specialist assessment and treatment to patients who may have complex and or

chronic conditions as an autonomous practitioner.To work with patients and their families or carers to provide excellent

individualised patient-centred care.To actively participate in the planning of complex discharges.To work

collaboratively with medical, nursing and therapy colleagues to ensure delivery of a co-ordinated multi-disciplinary
