Band 7 Tissue Viability Nurse Specialist
About the Role
Develop and deliver educational programmes for Birmingham Community Healthcare to support the Children and Families and
staff within paediatric specialist nursing services on tissue viability related issues in a variety of formats,
including e-learning and competency-based assessments. Promote the achievement of competencies in nurses involved in
wound care & prevention, to facilitate the delivery of safe and appropriate care. Act as a role model to the nursing
staff in all aspects of wound care. Provide clinical support and supervision to specialist nursing colleagues and access
regular supervision from the specialist tissue viability team. Support Trust management in Tissue Viability-related
