The Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) role in Emergency and Same Day Emergency Care is an advanced, autonomous

position that transcends traditional professional boundaries, providing expert clinical assessment and management of

patients across the emergency pathway. Working within the Emergency Department (ED), Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC), and

associated urgent care settings, the ACP is a key leader in inter-professional practice, modelling excellence in the

delivery of safe, effective, and holistic care.
