About the Role

The Head of Midwifery will provide effective, visible clinical and professional leadership for midwifery in the

directorate for which they are responsible. The post- holder will be responsible for leading teams of

cross-site/locality services and will therefore be expected to be work across sites.

The post-holder will be responsible for assuring professional standards and practice in all aspects of nursing and

midwifery practice are achieved within the Trust, including adhering to statutory regulations to deliver excellent

patient care.
