About the Role
As a Kitchen Assistant at Glenholme Thimbleby Court, you will support the Chef in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen environment. Your role is essential in ensuring high standards of hygiene and food preparation, contributing to the overall well-being of residents and staff.
Responsibilities
- Keep all areas of the kitchen clean and tidy.
- Wash and sanitise kitchen equipment thoroughly.
- Ensure economic use of food and materials.
- Report defects or damages to the Chef.
- Assist with preparing vegetables and light meals.
- Clean according to the established schedule.
- Support colleagues in other areas as needed.
- Maintain a professional uniform at all times.
Requirements
- Experience in a kitchen environment preferred.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to assist in various kitchen tasks.

Compensation
Pay rate is £12.30 per hour, to be discussed further during the interview process.

Located at Glenholme Thimbleby Court, Horncastle LN9 5RA. Flexible bank hours available.
