About the Role

and patients alike. CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES 1.To participate in the dispensing of in-patient/out patient (BH only)

prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist/qualified pharmacy.technician (after appropriate training),

including ward based dispensing. 2.Observe safe working practices to avoid placing themselves, other staff, patients or

visitors at risk by their actions. RESPONSIBILITY FOR PATIENTS 1.To deal promptly and appropriately with all queries

(telephone calls. patient queries, ward issues) referring when necessary 2.To deliver urgent items and controlled drugs
