About the Role

The Behaviour Support Worker will work in Chesterfield, supporting pupils with special educational needs in a pupil referral unit. This full-time role involves engaging with children aged 5 to 11, helping them overcome challenges related to ODD, ADHD, EBD, and Dyslexia.

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils in a classroom and group settings.
  • Engage with children exhibiting challenging behaviors.
  • Collaborate with teachers to implement learning activities.
  • Assist in developing social and emotional skills.
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress.

Requirements

  • Experience with primary or secondary school-aged children.
  • Knowledge of working with pupils with SEND.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Basic Maths and English skills.
  • Driving license and business insurance required.

Compensation
