About the Role
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sexual Health Advisor works as part of the multi-disciplinary team in GUM and HIV Medicine to provide information
and advice to patients to help them to make informed choices about their sexual health. An important aspect of the role
is to offer advice to minimise the risks of infection. The health advisor will have excellent communication skills to
support patients through a diagnosis, including how to understand and manage their condition and how to reduce possible
onward transmission. The health advisors are expected to be easily accessible to the general public in Northern Ireland,
