Bioinformatician

About the Role

We have an opportunity for a Structural Bioinformatician who is interested in protein domains and functional

annotations. You'll join the Velankar team at EMBL-EBI on a collaborative project between PDBe, the SCOP team at the MRC

Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB). In this role you will create and improve biological data processing pipelines,

perform data analysis, and contribute to developing web applications. We are looking for someone creative, curious, and

ambitious with a drive to tackle impactful biological data analysis problems.

The Velankar team maintains macromolecular structure databases that form essential resources for biologists and other
