About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified Biomedical Scientist with HCPC registration to work within the Blood
Science department at Scarborough Hospital within the Haematology and Blood Transfusion sections. This is a full time
vacancy 37.5 hours per week and the successful candidate will be expected to participate on the 24/7 shift rota when
suitably trained and competency achieved.
The department is fully equipped with the Sysmex XN series for Haematology, Sysmex CN for Coagulation, Grifols Eflexis
analysers and Haemonetics Blood Tracking in Blood Transfusion . The laboratory is UKAS accredited and has recently gone
