About the Role
The Department is UKAS accredited. It serves a population of around 410,000 but has a wider catchment area. It provides
a full range of analytical services to the Royal Wolverhampton NHSTrust and Cannock and Woverhampton CCGs producing
approximately 6 million test results per year.
The laboratory moved into a new state of the art laboratory in early 2013 equipped with new analysers and pre-analytical
systems linked by an automated sample track.
Consideration may be given to newly state registered Biomedical Scientists or students approaching state registration
