  About the Role
The Biomedical Support Worker will assist in providing a specialist haematology laboratory service, focusing on stem cell processing and immunophenotyping.
Responsibilities
- Process and test haemopoietic progenitor cell products.
- Adhere to safety protocols in the liquid nitrogen storage area.
- Support regional and national transplant services.
- Maintain accurate records of laboratory activities.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements
- 3 Highers at Grade C or above, including Chemistry or Biology.
- SVQ3 in a relevant science subject.
- Completion of a modern apprenticeship in life sciences.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to protocols.
- Ability to work flexibly according to departmental needs.

Location & Schedule
Position based at Gartnavel General Hospital, Glasgow. Working hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 09:00 to 17:00.
