Breast Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist
About the Role
To be responsible for providing appropriate specialist advice, support and education to patients throughout the Breast
Cancer pathways, from diagnosis to treatment end. To play a pivotal role within the Breast Cancer team providing:
specialist information; high quality care;assessment, advice and support for those patients on a suspected breast cancer
pathway having investigative procedures and eventual diagnosis and treatment of a breast cancer. This will extend to
their families / carers and other Health Care Professionals both internal and external to the Trust, which will promote
a seamless service within a multi-professional framework. They will provide guidance, supervision and training to peers
