About the Role
The Specialist Nurse is a role integral to the ongoing development of the Breast Care Service and will involve working
collaboratively with the Consultant Breast surgeons, Oncologists and other members of the multi-disciplinary team to
ensure the continuity of an integrated seamless holistic approach to Breast Cancer Care.
The successful applicant will support the Macmillan Breast Care Clinical Nurse Specialist team to actively plan,
implement and evaluate expert nursing care and provide specialist advice and psychosocial support to patients with
breast cancer across the range of care settings within the trust in line with local and national guidelines.
