Cancer MDT Co-Ordinator and Pathway Tracker
About the Role
These are the key areas that support the purpose of the job : Be responsible for the tracking of suspected cancer
patients who have been referred urgently by the GP through their pathway, to either a non-malignant diagnosis or to the
first and subsequent treatment. Ensure that each step of the patient's pathway is within nationally agreed timescales
and that final and subsequent treatments comply with those national operational standards. Maintaining an up to date and
intermediate knowledge of national cancer standards, ensuring that unnecessary waits in the cancer pathway do not
contribute to breaches of the cancer targets. This will involve working with clinical and administrative teams to ensure
