About the Role

The post holder will support the implementation of the NHS cancer plan and NHS cancer reform strategy through providing

dedicated administrative support to multidisciplinary teams working together to provide high quality care for patients

with cancer.

The post also encompasses a patient tracking role to ensure that all suspected and diagnosed cancer patients are

investigated and treated in a timely fashion. There is particular focus on managing each stage in the patient’s journey

with particular reference to the national minimum dataset for cancer.
