About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cancer Support Worker (Band 4) to join the Gynaecological Oncology service. The
post holder will support patients with gynaecological cancers by working closely with Clinical Nurse Specialists,
Advanced Practice Nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver a coordinated and compassionate service.
The Cancer Support Worker will provide practical, emotional and administrative support to patients at different stages
of their cancer pathway. This will include acting as a point of contact for patients and families, supporting clinics
and MDT activity, coordinating appointments and investigations, and ensuring effective communication between patients
