About the Role

Take responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care from admission to discharge. Be

aware of current advances in clinical care and be able to facilitate the team members in implementation of

evidence-based practice.Take an active role in the continuing development and use of protocols and standards for nursing

care. Participate in audits and research development within the department and incorporate appropriate findings into

practice. Understand the need to adapt and change practice/working patterns to meet growing demands of the

cardiology/cath lab service to meet National policy and objectives. Ensure awareness and understanding of service
