About the Role

The post holder will undertake highly skilled support work for people who have cardiac disorders and complex multi

pathology conditions. The work will involve assisting the cardiac rehabilitation nurses and therapists in supporting the

screening, assessing, and goal setting of cardiac patients, and the delivery of a cardiac rehabilitation exercise and

education programme, adapting the programme to meet individual patient requirements. The post also includes supporting

the departmental volunteers together with cleaning, and reviewing equipment in line with protocols. The post also

includes specific administration tasks including audit to support the daily running of the department.
