Care Assistant, Days

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Langtree, a new 52-bed home within Standish Care Village. In this role, you will support residents by delivering person-centred care, ensuring their dignity and wellbeing while promoting their independence and personal interests. Experience in health and social care is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualised person-centred care to residents.
• Assist with personal care tasks, including washing and dressing.
• Administer medications as per GP instructions.
• Support residents in maintaining community connections.
• Participate in daily clinical and team meetings.

Requirements

• Experience in health and social care preferred.
• Understanding of personal care planning.
• Knowledge of dementia care is beneficial.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Commitment to ongoing training and development.
