About the Role
A Domiciliary Care Assistant provides personal care and practical support to individuals in their own homes, enabling
them to live independently and maintain their quality of life. The role involves assisting with daily living activities
such as personal hygiene, dressing, meal preparation, medication support and light household tasks. Care assistants also
offer companionship, monitor clients’ wellbeing, and report any changes or concerns to senior staff. The position
requires compassion, reliability, good communication skills, and a commitment to delivering person-centred care in
accordance with care plans and regulatory standards.
