About the Role

About Me

I am a 41-year-old man living with a C5 complete spinal cord injury following a car accident. I live with my partner and

my rescue dog, Marty, who is a big part of my life. Before my injury, I was very active and enjoyed playing sports,

particularly football. I loved running, cycling, spending time outdoors, and going to the gym most evenings after work.

I also took pride in my career and the work I did. While my life has changed, I still enjoy socialising, going to the

pub when I’m feeling up to it, and taking part in a good pub quiz. Family and friends are extremely important to me, and
