Care Home Deputy Manager (Nursing)

About the Role

As our Deputy Manager (Clinical), you will support the Home Manager in delivering safe, effective nursing care. You will provide clinical leadership, ensuring person-centred care that promotes dignity and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Support the Home Manager in clinical governance.
• Mentor and supervise nursing and care staff.
• Conduct clinical audits and update care plans.
• Oversee medication management and documentation.
• Maintain liaison with healthcare professionals and families.

Requirements

• NMC registered nurse with relevant experience.
• Previous Deputy Home Manager experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of CQC standards.
• Ability to engage with service users effectively.
• Strong relationship-building skills with external professionals.

Compensation

Pay is £24.50 per hour, with permanent, day shift positions available.

Location & Schedule

Located at Park View Nursing Home, 14-16 Ullet Road, Liverpool L8 3SR, overlooking Prince's Park.
